Both the 2019 Honda Pilot and the 2018 Pilot don’t offer an upgrade from their standard engine but they both pair the 3.5L V6 with a 9-Speed Automatic Transmission with Paddle Shifters on their Touring and Elite trim levels. A standard 60/40 Split-Folding third-row and the available One-Touch second-row seat can be found inside both the 2019 and 2018 Honda Pilot. Heated leather-trimmed front seats are standard on the EX-L, and Touring trims of the 2019 and 2018 Honda Pilot and the Elite trim level of both receive heated and ventilated front seats. The 2018 Honda Pilot only offers second-row captain’s chairs on its Elite trim level while the 2019 Pilot has standard second-row captain’s chairs in the EX-L and Elite trims and makes them available as an option for the Touring trim as well.
