The 2019 Honda Pilot only has the option of being equipped with its standard 3.5L V6 while the 2019 Kia Sorento makes an engine upgrade available. A 3.3L V6 is available for the 2019 Sorento and it puts out 290 HP and 252 lb-ft of torque, or about the same as the 2019 Pilot’s standard engine, however the 3.3L V6 of the Sorento only averages 19 MPG City/ 26 MPG HWY. All-Wheel Drive (AWD) is an available option across all of the 2019 Honda Pilot’s trim levels while the 2019 Sorento doesn’t make AWD available on its base trim.
